The Nakshatara - (Constellation)

The Nakshatara(Constellation)-signifies a cluster of stars , Kind a map of the Sky . Jyotisha follows the equal Nakshatra division of 27 Nakshatras. All the Nakshatras are of 13°-20' each except for Uttrasala, Abhijit and Sravana......All 27/28 Nakshatara been governed by Vedic Deity's.

The Vedang Jyotisha mentions the Nakshatara names starting both from Krittika and Ashvini. As per Athatrava Veda there are 28-eight(Abhijit) nakshatras in the (AV Kanda 19, Sukta 7) .They start from Krittika and end at bharani.

All hindu ancient scriputers, Vedas(Arthrveda, Rigveda),, Purana's, Santhnaa Brahmana and hindu epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata & Geeta all mentioned "Nakshatara"

In vedic astrology , study of Nakshatara shows the outcome(destined) depends on the constellation of influences at the time of our birth, thus a comprehensive study of the Nakshataras and planets in Nakshatara and pada's defines our particulars for this lifetime..

Study of Nakshatara's is of paramount importance in finding time to perform specific tasks(rituals, marrige date, start of business etc) as per Muhurata-(elections)-selecting a time based on a particular Nakshatara day & time. deep study of Nakshatara & pada (4)- asserting divination (4-Nakshatara padas signifies Dharma,Artha, Kaama,Moksha )by the positions of the planets, Sun and Moon nakshatara's.
