Planet (Strength) Bala Importance ...

Planet Bala Importance ...

The Planets produce their results depending upon their strong or weakness in a horoscope. Determination of the exact strength of planets demands an elaborate, mathematical calculation.

Units of Planetary Strengths
It’s so vital to express the strength of planets in Rupas and Shashtyamshas (units and subunits). 60 Shashtyamshas (subunits) makes a Rupa (a unit).

Each planet is supposed to get a particular share of strength when he occupies a particular position. There are the following six kinds (sources) of strengths, known as Shadbala are:
1) Positional strength (Sthana Bala)
2) Directional Strength (Dig Bala)
3) Temporal Strength (Kaala Bala)
4) Motional Strength (Cheshta Bala)
5) Inherent Strength (Naisargika)
6) Aspectual Strength (Drig Bala)

1) Sthanabala-This is the strength which a planet derives by virtue of his occupying a particular house in a horoscope. A planet gets sthanabala when he is exalted, is in his own house, moolatrikona and friendly house or when he is in own sign in shadvargas.
Basically this is the strength of a planet because of its position. This is comprised of -:
1) Uchcha Bala -: this is the strength due to the exaltation of a planet. A planet gets one Rupa(or (60 Shashtyamshas) of strength when at its exact point of exaltation. And it gets “0” a unit when at its exact point of debilitation (180 degree), the strength varies from 60 shashtyamshas to 0 Shashtyamsha. Each 3 degree of planet’s longitude thus corresponds to strength of 1 shashtyamsha.

2) Sapta-vargaja Bala-:
The Sapta (7) Vargas’s comprise of the Rashi(D-1), Hora(D-2), Drekkana(D-3), Sapthamsha(D-7), Navmsha(D-9), Dwadashamsha(D-12) and Trimshamsha(D-30).
(A) Rashi Chart -: the strength depends on the location of the planet -:
1) Moolatrikona = 45,000 Shashtyamshas
2) Own House = 30,000 Shashtyamshas
3) Adhi Mitra = 22,500 Shashtyamshas
4) Mitra House = 15,000 Shashtyamshas
5) Sama House = 7,500 Shashtyamshas
6) Shatru House =3,750 Shashtyamshas
7) Adhi- Shatru =1,875 Shashtyamshas

(B)The remaining 6 Vargas’s -:
Moolatrikonna sign is not considered in the 6 Vargas’s () charts. The planets in the remaining all these 6 Vargas receives similar strength.
1) Own House = 30,000 Shashtyamshas
2) Adhi-Mitra (bosom friend) = 22,500 Shashtyamshas
3) Mitra (Friend) 15,000 Shashtyamshas
4) Sama (Equal) = 7,500 Shashtyamshas
5) Shatru (Enemy) = 3,750 Shashtyamshas
6) Adhi – Shatru (Bitter Enemy) = 1,875 Shashtyamshas

3) Oja-yugama Rashi Bala-:
The Moon and Venus in even signs in Rashi Moon sign
The Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn in odd signs in D1, each gets strength of = 15 shashtyamshas, otherwise no strength.

4) Oja-yugama Navmsha Bala -:
The Moon and Venus in even signs in Navmsha
The Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn in odd signs in D9, each gets strength of = 15 shashtyamshas, otherwise no strength.

5) Kendradi Bala -:
Planets in Kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th house) gets = 60 Shashtyamshas, those in panpharas =30 Shashtyamshas, and those in apoklimas = 15 Shashtyamshas of strength.

6) Drekkana Bala -:
Sun, Mars, Jupiter (male) planets in first Drekkana,
Mercury and Saturn (Eunuchs) in middle Drekkana
Moon and Venus (Female) planets in last Drekkana gets 15 Shashtyamshas of strength each. If these planets are outside these Drekkanas they get no strength.

2. Digbala-This is the directional strength. Jupiter and Mercury have Digbala in the east (that is, when they are positioned in Ascendant lagna), Sun and Mars have Digbala in the South (10th house), Saturn in the West (7th house), Venus and Moon in the North (4th house) and opposites (180 degree away) house it will receive( 0 ) zero shashtyamsha’s, i.e Venus and Moon in South (10th house) receives no strength. And in between receives proportionate strength at a rate of (1) Shashtyamsha for every 3 degree of arc.

3. Chesta bala (Motional Strength) Sun and Moon get this source of strength when they are in 10,11,12,1,2 Rashi Signs and Gemini sign (which is Sun's northernly course i.e. Uttarayana). Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn get this source of strength when they are in retrograde motion or when they are in conjunction with Moon (i.e. within 12" of Moon).
The Sun has the same Ayana bala and Cheshta Bala.
The Moon has the same Paksha Bala and Cheshta Bala.

4. Kaala bala-This means temporal strength. Moon, Mars, Saturn are powerful at night (i.e. in chart of
Night births). Sun, Jupiter and Venus are powerful during the day (obtains 60 Shashtyamshas of strength at exact local noon).
Mercury is powerful (always gets 60 shashtyamshas) both during the day and in the night.
Malefic and benefic are powerful during the dark half and bright half of the lunar month respectively.
Mercury is powerful at sunrise, Sun at noon, Saturn in the evening, Mars at first part of the night' Moon at night and Venus at the last part of the night' Jupiter is powerful always" Planets are said to be powerful in their week days, months and -years.

5. Drig bala-'Drig bala is reckoned as a result of aspect to which each planet is subjected to by the other.
The aspect of a malefic or an enemy planet lessens the Drig bala of the aspccted planets while the Drig bala is increased if he receives the aspect of a benefic or a friendly planet.

6. Naisargik bala-This means permanent or natural strength. Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars and Saturn are strong in the above order. Sun is most powerful (60 Shashtyamshas) and Saturn has (8.57) the least natural strength or naisargik bala.

Our classical texts have laid down very detailed principles to work out the strength of the planets on the basis of the sources of theses strength described above.

It is a very lengthy process and very few astrologers take the trouble of going in that much detail.

Experience and practice will enable us all without arithmetical calculations to Judge the strengths of planets in a horoscope.

however as they say, HAAR KE AAGEY JEET HAI ... :)

Thanks & regards
Rahul

Meditation via Water Sounds !

Even before birth we are about 95% water we are submerged in water in our mothers womb which protects us from harm and keeps us nourished, when we are born we are 70% water and if by coincidence, 70% of our plant is covered in water.

It will come as no surprise to you that water is like a magnet to us, drawing us to its hypnotic therapeutic properties. when we see a lake, we want to swim in it, dip our toes in, throw a fishing line in, float a boat on it, dive in it, or just sit and become mesmerized by its enchantment.

We hear water trickling from a stream, Many of us are drawn to its peaceful sound. The majority of us go on holiday and its by the sea side, or at a lodge by a lake, anything that involves water, many of us are there simply because it is natures way of soothing us.

There are so many different techniques in which we can use water relaxation, the most popular one would be to bath in hot bubbly water surrounded in a fusion of candle light whilst listening to some relaxing music, scented with just a few drops of essential oils, leaving a meditative state an easier option in which to enter.Taking a dip at the local swimming baths is another option, which is popular for people of all ages.

Meditating to the water sound is so soothing ,the benefits are the same, great for mind toning, relieving stress and for overall enjoyment

One form of water relaxation therapy, which has to be one of the best ways of attaining deep relaxation, is the floatation Aquariums/tanks/floatrooms. Using a sensory deprivation treatment, this is a form of water therapy which enhances mind, body and spirit well being.

Relaxing in your favourite armchair, the house is peaceful except for the gentle trickle coming from the fish tank. The fish are flitting in and out of the bubbles and the light shines brightly illuminating the colours.

It is difficult not to become hypnotised by the water in the tank. This is another type of relaxation therapy which is visualization, having a beautiful vision is just as relaxing as getting involved with the physical side, it is a successful method in relieving stress.

I love to hear Ocean, Sea,lake, waterfalls ( water floating sounds) , so rejuvenating , so refresh , brings calmness to soul .....!

Enjoy the sounds and feel amazing deep within....

The voice of nature brings enticing experiance to us .

Birth Yogas

Nitya (नित्य) yogas occur every day. Nitya means continual , perpetual , eternal as the angle-distance between the sun ( surya ) and moon ( Chandra) happen continually.

Some like to call this nitya 'daily' , as it continues day-in and day-out. And we know yoga is union. So it is the continual union of the sun + moon that forms a yoga day-in and day-out.

In Astrology, We measure 27 of these unions throughout the month. It is based upon the angle ° distance between the sun and the moon. If we take 360° and divide by 27 = 13°20' of an arc ( some write 13.33°). So for each 13.33° a yoga is formed.

When you are born, your birth took place in one of these yogas… It is the combination of the Sun+Moon that is at the core of your birth ( Atman or jiva + Mind) and what is added to this Atman+mind? The Lagna or the body. So this yoga is one data point that gives just a clue on the quality of the individual coming into this creation and the work of the Universe.

These yogas are not to be confused with other yogas that are formed such as Ravi yogas, Chandra yogas, Dhanaya, yogas and the like.

The method of calculating the nitya yoga is the following:
(Sun's Longitude + Moon's Longitude) divided by 13°20'
The resulting quotent tells you which of the 27 yogas are active. Some people like to convert the Longitudes all in to minutes then divide by 800 minutes ( also = to 13°20' )

Examples
Lets say you do a calculation and your answer is less then one… this indicates that the 1st yoga is active. Said another way the sun and moon are both within 13°20' of each other. Lets show this with the following example:
Sun is 5° and moon is 1° . (5° + 1°)/ 13°20' = .45 and therefore Vishkumbha Yoga.

Another: Sun is 92° and moon is 46°33' = (92° + 46°33')/13°20' =10.39 or Vriddhi Yoga. Why did 10.39 yield Vriddhi Yoga, the 11th listed yoga? Because Ganda , the 10th yoga is completed, and then the 11th yoga period begins with any fraction calculated above 10 ( 10.1 or 10.2 , 10.3… ) i.e. after the 10th yoga.

The combined longitudes of the Sun and the Moon is  called a Nithya Yoga. There are 27 Nithya Yogas  based on the 27 constellations which tenant the Ecliptic. The calculation of Nithya Yoga is simple. Add the longitude of the Moon to the longitude of the Sun, divide it by 13 degrees 20 minutes and you get the Nithya Yoga.

Predictions Came true !

On 1st May 2011,4 AM Sunday Morning, I am writing my 1st Political Onnline Prediction about the Tamil Nadu Elections b/w AMMA (Jayalalitha) vs Dada Karunanidhi (DMK),..i am herewith predicting future based on jayalalita n karunanaidhi birth charts.

Considering the day of the results i.e. 13th,May,2011, Jayalalita Moon will be transiting in her natal moon hosue (1st house) , signifies Gains, sense of comfort and happiness, however Rahu in 5th causing vedha to Moon , yet her Rahu being Dasha lord n Al in 5th house, surley helps her attain the high position (victory)

There will be 5 planets, (sun, mars, jupitar.mercury & venus) jupitar + venus without any vedha, surely favorable in 9th frm natal moon .

From 8th April to 11TH July 2011 , Jayalalita is running Rahu Mahadasha-Moon Bhukti,n Venus (Exalted in her 10th house),Prayantradasha.

Considering yogni dasha from 27-1ug2010 to 27-1ug-1013 she is running jupitar mahadasha and Mercury Antradasha till 27th aug,2011,n Venus (exalted n favorable transiting in 9th house) Prayantar dasha from 11-may,2011 to 10th june 2011, will surely makes her win this Tamil Nadu Election..

Considering Indu lagna of jayalalita, 5 planets in upachay 3rdhouse, Indulagna lord (Rahu) also Mahadasha lord in 11th,,signifies victory to her.

Saturn’s transit from the Moon is the most important because Saturn is the one planet that gives long term effects and puts into motion those events of life that will have the strongest karmic effects. Saturn is Time and long term, life changing karma.and therfore considering Saturn role in her chart for upcoming year especially frm Novemer onwards when Saturn will be favorable for her by transiting in 3rd house ..Therfore,astrologically speaking, most Certainly, JAYALALITA WILL BE NEXT CM of Tamil Nadu

Jupitar Transit into Aries

Transits (Gochar ), means Motion/Movement of planets into 12 signs ...

A planet during their transits through various signs gives results as per the benefic or malefic positions in the horoscope. With transits aspects changes. The different planets give the predominance of their effects in different moon signs they transits.

Transit results are significant as in effects as much as they append and modify the dosha and bhukti results. for instance, a person is having Jupiter Mahadasha and Jupiter is well placed in the natal chart. If in transit Jupiter gets into debilitation or in an unfavorable (3, 6, 8) position the result of the dasha as long as Jupiter remains unfavorable would be slightly unfavorable. The same would apply to the bhukti lord. Thus when we are judging the dasha and antardasha( bhukti)  results we should also see how the dasha lord and antandasha lords are placed with reference to Natal Moon and with reference to each other. Also if they get into 6th-8th position b/w themselves, they would adversely affect the dasha and antardasha(bhukti) results.

All the losses borne away by 12th and 1st transited Jupiter, would be redeems and  restores when Jupiter transit in the 2nd Bhav. Similarly whatever he has taken away when in the 8th, is restored when he is in the 9th.  Therefore Jupiter being auspicious planet work as a redeemer and its transits results are actually a blessing  by  the Lord Jupiter .

Transit Jupiter is highly auspicious & favors in 2, 5, 7, 9 and 11 houses from moon sign and transiting in 1,3,4,6,8,10 houses bad effects are realized.

Transit Effects on 12 Rashi's -:

Aries -:  Loss of money, disgrace, domestic worries, increases of enemies, heavy expenditure, ill health, failure in works.

Therefore,Jupiter is favorable transiting the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th house and unfavorable transiting the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th house from the natal Moon.

Planets while transiting unfavorable houses identical with their exaltation, own or friendly signs will produce only very mild and ordinary bad results while in their inimical and depression signs they will produce maximum miseries.

During the transit if the planet receives benefic aspects or association good results will be increased and bad results will be reduced, whereas  if the aspect or association be malefic, good results will be minimum and bad results will be maximum.

If there be malefic planets in the 4th, 5th, 8th or 9th house reckoned from a transiting planet that is favourable, the good effects of transit will be neutralized whereas, if the transit be unfavorable the evils will be increased.

When a planet transits through a sign (whether favorable or unfavorable) if there be another planet moving at the vedha point, the effects of transit will be checked and will not be felt. Vedha points or points of obstructions.

Vedha (points of obstruction) must be taken into consideration while considering the transit effects of various planets -:
Vedha of Jupiter:
There will be obstruction of transiting Jupiter’s good effects in the 2nd house of the natal Moon,if there is a planet in the 12th from the natal Moon.

There will be obstruction of transiting Jupiter’s good effects in the 5th house of the natal Moon, if there is a planet in the 4th from the natal Moon.

There will be obstruction of transiting Jupiter’s good effects in the 7th house of the natal Moon, if there is a planet in the 3rd from the natal Moon.

There will be obstruction of transiting Jupiter’s good effects in the 9th house of the natal Moon, if there is a planet in the 10th from the natal Moon.

There will be obstruction of transiting Jupiter’s good effects in the 11th house of the natal Moon, if there is a planet in the 8th from the natal Moon.

Vipareet Vedha of Jupiter:
Transiting Jupiter’s bad effects in the 3rd house from the natal Moon will be neutralized by a planet in the 7th house from the natal Moon.

Transiting Jupiter’s bad effects in the 4th house from the natal Moon will be neutralized by a planet in the 5th house from the natal Moon.

Transiting Jupiter’s bad effects in the 8th house from the natal Moon will be neutralized by a planet in the 11th house from the natal Moon.

Transiting Jupiter’s bad effects in the 10th house from the natal Moon will be neutralized by a planet in the 9th house from the natal Moon.

Transiting Jupiter’s bad effects in the 12th house from the natal Moon will be neutralized by a planet in the 2nd house from the natal Moon.

Also Most Vital n important are consideration of Asthvarga points (Bindus), for the accurate transits of predictions
Transit seen w/o Ashtakavarga is too superficial and therefore can be misleading. Therefore when the jupitar transits over a sign having more then 4 bindus in its own Bhinnaashtakavarga, favorable results are forseen. less thn 4 bindus results will be inauspicious.

In short, " TRANSIT MAY PROPOSE, DASHA MAY DISPOSE "
